Description

In the most evocative corner of eastern Quintana Roo, amidst cenotes, forests, and reefs, childhood memories intertwine with the sounds of the sea and the colors of nature. This is where Kaan Kun is born—a world of play where children explore with wonder a space designed just for them, inspired by Mexico’s rich cultural and natural heritage.

Co-created with Club Med, this concept shaped the resort’s leisure areas, each paying tribute to a landscape or symbol of the region: from the Ruins of Xaman-Há and the Caretta Caretta Reef to the Kinich-Ahau Forest.

The Waterpark, featuring 24 play elements—including slides, tipping buckets, water cannons, and cascades—offers a 217 m² space where up to 25 children aged 4 to 10 can play.

Next to it, the Splashpark provides a calmer yet equally stimulating experience, with 20 elements such as cenotes, water cannons, and wetting poles, spanning 62 m² and accommodating up to 30 children.

Three slides over 6 meters high, designed to provide fun and adventurous experiences.

The project is completed with two playgrounds covering nearly 200 m², featuring over 30 play elements—including towers, slides, net bridges, climbing areas, and playhouses—allowing up to 40 children to continue exploring and playing beyond the water.

Each area was designed with respect for the resort’s values of sustainability and authenticity, integrating materials and solutions that blend seamlessly with the surroundings while meeting the expectations of modern families.

Club Med Cancún thus becomes a playful setting where tradition, imagination, and nature come together to offer unique experiences that go beyond a simple vacation.
