RIU Guanacaste Hotel

Inspired by the dynamism and movement of the sea, together with RIU Guanacaste we created Secrets of the Sea, a splash park that invites families to explore, discover, and share new adventures.

The project was carried out in an area that already featured other aquatic attractions —a waterpark and several slides—, so one of the main challenges was achieving seamless integration with the existing facilities.

The result is a 150 m² splash area that can accommodate up to 55 children playing simultaneously, designed to maximize fun while ensuring safety.

Its 28 play elements are strategically arranged to cater to different age groups: younger children enjoy a protected play environment, while older ones can take on more thrilling experiences such as the tipping bucket over 4 meters high or the water cannons.

The design follows the refined and elegant aesthetic of RIU Hotels & Resorts, harmoniously blending with the surrounding facilities to create a unique and family-friendly aquatic leisure space.
