A World of Elves in Lanzarote

At Meliá Sol Lanzarote, we designed a completely personalised children’s playground, creating an authentic enchanted forest, populated by elves and nature. This park is designed for children from 5 to 11 years old, offering them a different environment from the usual, which encourages the creation of new stories while they have fun.

The playground, of more than 400 m², is mostly made of wood, offering a feeling of being back to nature. The combination of bright colours in the play elements and on the ground contributes to recreate magical paths, spaces and forests, making this place a unique leisure area, designed for the enjoyment of the little ones and to meet Meliá’s expectations in terms of children’s entertainment.

Fun, Imagination and Learning through Play

Each element of this park is carefully designed to be part of this enchanted forest, while offering a play challenge in its own right. We have integrated structures such as slides, walkways and swings adapted to each age range, as well as climbing frames and other adventure elements that encourage balance, coordination and the development of motor skills. We have also incorporated a floor trampoline, a zip line and more activities that allow children to explore and enjoy their surroundings.

A Hedge Maze to Challenge the Imagination

One of the highlights of this playground is the large hedge maze, located on one side, where children can play hide and seek, follow endless routes and discover new ways to find the exit. This space encourages logical thinking and problem solving, while providing hours of fun.

With this project, we have created a playful environment that not only provides fun, but also inspires children to imagine, explore and learn as they play.
