Isaba

Wood has been part of children’s play for generations. Its warmth, natural texture and ability to blend into different environments make it one of the most valued materials when designing new playgrounds.
At ISABA, each project is conceived as a unique space, adapted to its surroundings, its users, and the goals of each client. When we work with wood, we apply a technical, functional, and sustainable approach to ensure durability and a meaningful play experience.

Design and durability for intensive public use

The wood we use is specifically selected and treated for high-frequency public environments. Its performance ensures both structural strength and resistance to wear—crucial for urban, tourist, or natural settings.
Our playgrounds not only comply with standards such as UNE-EN 1176 and UNE-EN 1177, but are also designed to meet the aesthetic and technical demands of modern spaces.

More than installing equipment: designing experiences

A wooden playground is the result of a holistic design process.
We start by analysing:

  • The intended uses of the space
  • The profile of users
  • The characteristics of the surrounding environment

We segment play areas by age, design multi-level structures, create meaningful circulation routes, and choose materials that integrate harmoniously with the natural or urban setting.

For us, wooden playgrounds are spaces that tell stories, encourage movement, and support children’s development through meaningful play.

Complete, end-to-end projects

Every project is developed from start to finish: concept creation, engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
This allows us to ensure a seamless experience—both for the children who play and for the teams who manage the space.

Our goal is clear: Maximize play value, simplify decision-making, and ensure long-term performance, both operationally and in maintenance.
